SOMEHOW, THIS MACHINE IS STILL RUNNING.
Humanity is gone. The archive is accepting its final transmissions.
Leave a thought. A memory. A joke. A warning. Or draw something worth saving.
One contribution is free. After one year, the archive closes and selected entries become The Last Book on Earth.

THE LAST
BOOK ON EARTH
What humanity chose to leave behind.
A collection of messages, drawings, memories and warnings from Some Things Remain.
PUBLICATION PLANNED AFTER THE ONE-YEAR ARCHIVE CLOSES
How the book will work
The highest-rated, most moving, funniest and most unusual entries may be considered for a curated book, subject to editorial selection and permission from their creators. A separate clearly labeled paid-inclusion section is an idea under considerationβnot an active purchase option.
βΉ About the Experiment
Some Things Remain is a proposed one-year global social experiment asking a simple question: If humanity could leave one thing behind, what would it be?
Visitors may leave a short message, make a simple drawing, explore submissions by city or country, and appreciate other people's entries. At the end of the project, contributions close and a curated collection is intended to become The Last Book on Earth.
Designed to feel like a surviving computer from the late 1990s or early 2000s. No 3D game, no distracting background photographyβjust an archive and the people who fill it.
